Caroline M. Ford

Ford, Caroline M. Bay City, Michigan Ford, Caroline M. of Bay City, Michigan passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at her residence with her husband at her side. Age 81 years. The daughter of the late Edward and Gladys Schmidt was born January 24, 1930 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, the Kiesel Pearls and enjoyed helping serve at the funeral breakfast. On June 30, 1978 she married Robert J. Ford and he survives her passing along with one son, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister and one brother. She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, two sisters and one brother. Mr. Ford would like to extend a special thank you to Nurse Donna and the staff of Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan -McLaren Hospice for the loving and special care they provided for Caroline during her illness. A Memorial Mass will be take place Saturday June 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig Catholic Church 1504 S. Kiesel St.. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Kevin N. Kerbawy with private Inurnment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin. At the request of Mrs. Ford cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. The family will be present at the church on Saturday to received visitors from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of the Mass. Memorial cards for St.Hedwig Catholic Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital will be available at the church.
