Casmir Kusey

Mr. Casmir Kusey, of Bay City, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, July 20, 2015, age 75. The son of the late John and Rose (Muszynski) Kusey, he was born on September 8, 1939 in Detroit. Casmir retired from GM Powertrain after 32 years of employment. He loved nature and was an avid outdoorsman, especially spending time up north hunting.
Mr. Kusey is survived by his three children, Deborah (David) Wurfel of Holland, Glenn (Maggie) Kusey of Essexville and Lisa (Gary) Rechsteiner of Kawkawlin; his beloved grandchildren, Adam and Jillian Kusey, Jack, Sam and Ella Rechsteiner, Anthony Franceschina and Rachel Hoffman; a sister, Carol (Richard) Plisko of Ypsilanti; and his niece, Rachelle (Gary) Boyer and nephew, Rick (Heidi) Plisko. Besides his parents, Casmir was also preceded in death by a sister, Lillian (Robert) Ziegler.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. David L. Dunn.
