Catherine T. Jean

Mrs. Jean passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 56 years. Mrs. Jean was born March 13, 1963 in Bay County, Michigan. She enjoyed working as a paramedic and watching the Detroit Tigers. Mrs. Jean loved her dogs and cats and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Jean is survived by her son, Nicholas Jean; three brothers, Jeff (Tina) Douponce, Steve Douponce and Mike (Linda) Douponce; one sister, Jeni (Randy) Goss; mother and father, Paul and Bernadette Douponce and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, John Jean; two daughters, Ashley Jean and Brittany Jean; two sons, Michael Jean and Andy Jean and one nephew, Chris Douponce.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie with private interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
