Cecelia M. Crane

Crane, Cecelia M. Essexville, Michigan Mrs. Crane passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 89 years. The daughter of the late Michael and Wilhemina "Minnie" (Feinauer) Reiss was born April 22, 1922 in Saginaw County, Michigan. Cecelia was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Auburn and a member of the F.O.E Auxiliary #1010. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Cecelia is survived by her seven children, Gary (Phyllis) Covieo, Lawrence (Betty) Covieo, Richard (Beverly) Covieo, Jimmy (Ellie) Covieo, Pamela (Douglas) McDonald, Sheila (Dan) Eigner and Donald (Kelly) Crane; nineteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; one brother, Clarence Reiss and six sisters, Eleanor Schutt, Irene Ullmer, Loretta Reinecke, Rosetta Norlock, Caroline Behmlander and Leona Harlan) Eisenman. In addition to her parents Cecelia was also preceded in death by six brothers, Oscar, Norman, Fred, Kurt, Frank and Arthur Reiss and two sisters, Verna Latoski and Charlotte Bli. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church of Auburn. Officiating will be Pastor David H. Reed with private inurnment at Floral Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at Grace Lutheran Church of Auburn from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Grace Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home.
