Cecil A. Burns-Vasquez

Cecil passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 57. The daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Tan) Burns was born September 23, 1966 in Olongapo, Philippines. Cecil was an excellent cook and a devout Christian who loved going to church. She enjoyed music, dancing and painting, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Cecil is survived by her husband, Angelo Vasquez; four daughters, Angela (Larry) Vacek, Sherry (Nathan) Luke, Kassandra (Kyle) Simpson and Cheyenne (Avery) Balzer; nine grandchildren, Leah, Alana, Aaron, Brennan, Cayden, Alexis, Vivian, Emily and Autumn. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alana.

At the request of Cecil, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
