Chadwick Ray Winter

Our loving son, brother, uncle and friend went to his heavenly home suddenly Thursday December 17, 2015 at his residence in Bay City, Michigan. Age 40 years. The son of Larry T. and the late Bonnie Lou (Schuchardt) Winter was born January 23, 1975 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. Chad was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust, he was currently employed at New Dimensions, The Stock Pot, Up-Town Grill and was proud to be an active volunteer in our community . He was active with the Special Olympics, was an avid bowler in the D.S.R.C. (Crippled Children) bowling league program and was an avid Michigan football fan. Chad also enjoyed the time he spent at the family cabin, swimming, boating and fishing and most of all he loved the time he spent with his family and an occasional trip to the casino. Left behind to cherish Chad's memories are his father; Larry T. Winter , one brother; Benjamin Fisher, one sister and brother-in-law; Becky and Kenneth Dennis, two nieces; Shontai Nicole Wasoski and Kendra Dennis, one nephew; Tyler (Samantha) Dennis, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Chad was preceded in death by his mother; Bonnie Lou Winter on September 2, 2015. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen E. Schilke with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. to receive visitors on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Chad will be taken to the church on Wednesday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
