Mrs. Lockhart passed away Saturday February 21, 2015 at her residence with her family at her side at the age of 83 years. The daughter of the late Charles and Julia (Schramm) Causley was born May 10, 1931 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She cherished the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed gardening, taking care of flowers and had a great love for her cat Eddie. Left behind to cherish her memories are two daughters and one son-in-law; Janet and John Zehnder of Frankenmuth and Carol Fellows of Bay City, three sons and one daughter-in-law; William Lockhart of Bay City, Robert and Lisa Lockhart of Maine and Gordon Lockhart of Bay City, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one very special great niece; Stella Coco Valdez of Bay City and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William W. Lockhart, four sisters and brothers-in-law; Evelyn and Gene Barth, Elaine and Clifford Beaver, Faye and Jerry Erway and Jane and Pete Burless and one brother and sister-in-law; Frank and Joanne Causley and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Beverly and Gordon Lee. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating was Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private Inurnment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. At the request of Mrs. Lockhart cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Service Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial contribution to The Bay County Humane Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
