Charles "Chuck" C. Pockrandt

Chuck peacefully passed away in his sleep on Monday, August 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 62. He was born July 25, 1962 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Ronald Pockrandt and Jewell (Pockrandt) Trombley. He was employed for many years at Heating and Cooling Direct Air as a repair technician, he was in the workers union UA Local 420. Chuck was very dedicated to the Lord, he was also very dedicated to his family, Chuck enjoyed working, reading books, working on cars, loved art and drawing, collecting crystal and stainless steel, watching old classic movies, watching comedies and Dr. Pole. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music, most of all, Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Barb Ann Pockrandt; children, Jennifer (Jimmy) Canning, Bryan Lewis and Jessica Lewis; mother, Jewell Trombley; brothers, Henrick (Cheryl) Pockrandt and William (Sharon) French; sister, Rebecca (Jerry) Fuller and Debbie (Steve) Reece; stepbrothers, Craig Kaplenski  and Mark (Cindy) Kaplenski and Patrick (Penny) Trombley; stepsisters, Lisa Muniz, Shelly (Russ) Quick; seven grandchildren; many nieces, and nephews and his dog, Misty. In addition to his father, Ronald Pockrandt, Chuck is preceded in death by brother, Barry French.

A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Lighthouse Ministries of Pinconning (4399 N. Huron Road. Pinconning, MI 48650). Officiating will be Pastor Rick Pockrandt with interment following at Floral Gardens Cemetery (2215 Cass Avenue Rd, Bay City, MI 48708 ). Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Lighthouse Ministries of Pinconning (4399 N. Huron Road. Pinconning, MI 48650) from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to a charity of your choice.
