Charles R. Strachan

STRACHAN, Charles R. of Kawkawlin, Michigan. Mr. Strachan passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Brian's House, age 82. The son of the late Charles A. and Adeline (Morden) Strachan, he was born June 4, 1927 in Bay City. Charles served with the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Bay Metro Transit as a dispatcher. He loved his animals and was a huge Detroit Tigers fan. Charles is survived by his special friends, Claudia Halm and her family and Linda and Norm Goulet; and many other friends. Besides his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his good friend, Walter Halm, Sr. It was Charles' wish that no services take place and private burial will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. gephartfuneralhome.com
