Charles Theon White

WHITE, Charles Theon of Kawkawlin, Michigan. Mr. White passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at his residence following a lengthily illness surrounded by his family, age 90 years. He was born September 1, 1918 in Ligonier, Indiana. He retired as an inspector for Insurance Service Organization (ISO) after thirty seven years of service, served with the United States Army during WWII, enjoyed fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of sixty four years Violet White whom he married on October 18, 1944; four children: Kenneth C. White of Kawkawlin, Patricia A. Reid of Englewood, CO, Rebecca D. Emmons of Vancouver, WA and Thomas S. White of Kawkawlin; four grandchildren: Michael Reid, Joseph Clark, Dane White and Amanda VanHorn and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Ave., Saginaw, Michigan. Officiating will be Kurt Eichinger. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at Oakwood Mausoleum on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. and until the time of services. Members of the Bay County Veterans Council will meet at the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 p.m. to conduct Military Honors.
