Charlotte M. Kolka

KOLKA, Charlotte M. "Scotty" of Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Kolka passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at her residence. Age 52 years. She was born June 28, 1957 in Bay City. Scotty was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with people. Mrs. Kolka is survived by her husband Joseph Kolka whom she married November 27, 1976; five children: Joseph (Lucy) Kolka, Jr., Corey (Marilyn) Kolka, Shawn Kolka, Morgan Kolka and William (Ashley) Kolka; three grandchildren: Abby Kolka, Natalie Dombrowski and Kelly Ryzinski; parents, Morgan and Joanne Hayes; one brother, Morgan (Joanne) Hayes; two sisters, Wendy (Steve) Blackwell and Jamie (Kerry) Schweinsberg; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Scotty was preceded in death by two uncles, Kenny Guinden and Bill Weber. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of McLaren Hospice and all of Scotty's sisters for their compassion and care. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Chaplain Judy Wilcox with interment following in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Ovarian Cancer Foundation will be available at the funeral home.
