Charlotte (LaClair) Philopulos of Essexville, Michigan passed away Wednesday afternoon December 24, 2014 at the home of her daughter-in-law Beatrice (Sugar) LeClair where she has resided for many years. Age 95 years. The daughter of the late John and Sophia (Hull) Fedder was born January 5, 1919 in Standish, Michigan . She was a member of Fremont Avenue United Methodist Church, enjoyed cooking, needle pointing, and a trip to the casino. She is survived by four sons, five daughters-in-law and two daughters; Edward James (Diana) LaClair, Beatrice (Sugar) LeClair, Bill (Jeanette), Louis (Becky), David (Sue), Andrea, and Lori Philopulos, twenty five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her former husband; Elmer LaClair, and then married George (Andy) Philopulos and he preceded her in death along with her son, John (Jack) LeClair, son; Jimmy LaClair, and one infant son. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Diana Peterson for the kind and compassionate care they extended to Josie during the time she cared for her. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Kawkawlin Community Church. Officiating will be Rev. David Dunn with interment following in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Philopulos will be taken to the church on Wednesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the "Wishes of the Family" will be available at the funeral home.
