Mrs. Fox passed away peacefully when she was called home by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Niche Aging Center Hampton at the age of 77. The daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Wanless) Richter was born February 17, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan. Cheryl graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1963 and was retired from the Bay County Department of Water and Sewer. Cheryl was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, an active member of the LWML, Bay County Humane Society, the Women of the Moose Chapter 367, and a season ticket holder for the Bay City Players. She also did the scheduling for the visitation of the shut ins and was a big fan of Danny O'Donnell.
Mrs. Fox is survived by her husband, Albert L. Fox, whom she married on August 26, 1967; one daughter, Tammy Lynn (Charles) Kohler; grandson, Jared Kaweck; half-sister, Joan Behrmann; sister-in-law, Colleen Richter; brother-in-law, Robert (Linda) Fox; special niece, Julie LaMoria and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her step-sister, Betty LeTourneau and her brother, William N. Richter.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Niche Aging Center Hampton for their compassion and care that they gave to Cheryl, her husband and her daughter. They are true angels.
Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Phillip Baerwolf with Committal following at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Zion Lutheran Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
