Schepper, Chris J. Bay City, Michigan Our loving son, father, and brother passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Bay City, Michigan in the early morning hours of Friday, August 4, 2017. Age 60 years. Chris was born in Bay City, Michigan on March 1, 1957 to his parents Lawrence and Rolda (Bushnell) Schepper, and has resided here all his life. He graduated from Bay City Western High School with the class of 1975. In his free time he enjoyed attending concerts and listening to music. His favorite genre was Classic Rock which also went along great with his love of classic cars. You could always find Chris working on some sort of project, or spending time outdoors. He was always on top of things especially when it came to hosting an event or a gathering. Many will always remember his contagious smile, laugh and his outstanding self-pride. Chris was always the "life of the party" and will forever be remembered as a big teddy bear. The most important thing in the world to him was his three children. His children will never forget how proud their father was of them, how much he loved them, and the support he always gave them. Left to cherish his memories are his three children, Kayleen Schepper, Michael Schepper, and Taylor Schepper; his mother, Rolda Schepper; and one brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Mary Schepper. He was met at the gates of heaven by his father, Lawrence "Larry" Schepper; and his two sisters, Nola and Kate. Family and friends are asked to join Chris's family at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. between 3:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 for a visitation to share memories and celebrate Chris's life.
