Chris J. Trinklein

Chris passed away unexpectedly late Thursday evening, March 29, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 35 years. Chris was born in Bay City on August 6, 1982 to Leonard and Nancy Trinklein and has been a resident of Bay City all of his life. He married the former Angela Kennedy in Bay City on July 7, 2007. Chris worked for Podunk Auto Parts in Millington. His passions were stock car racing and bowling. Chris was the creator of Racecar Tattoo Graphics.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Angela; treasured parents, Leonard and Nancy Trinklein; special aunt, Dawn Langdon; uncles, Arthur and James Schroeder; father and mother-in-law, John and Kathy Kennedy; nephew, Kayden Hendren; brother-in-law, Dan Kennedy and fiancé Stephanie Bokovoy; sister-in-law, Sarah Kennedy and fiancée Mike Kirby; brother-in-law, Bobby Kennedy; longtime friends, Matt Scott, Tim Mahoney, Don Colbath III and Jeremy Scott. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Ann Schroeder and Keith and Shirley Trinklein; uncles, Glen and Dennis Trinklein.
Per Chris's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
