Christine B. Hayward

Mrs. Hayward passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 12, 2014 at her residence. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Henry and Lillie (Knaack) Born was born January 18, 1922 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Mrs. Hayward was formerly employed as a reporter for the Bay City Times. Left to cherish her memory is one step-daughter: Christine A, Hayward of Farmington Hills, MI, one sister; Ruth L. Born of Valparaiso, IN, one cousin; Charlie Curtiss. In addition to her parent she was also preceded in death by her husband; Jack Hayward and her cousin Phil Curtiss. At the request of Mrs. Hayward cremation has taken place and no services or visitation are being planned. Private inurnment will take place in Elm Lawn Park Cemetery.
