Clara "C.J." J. Jekel

Jekel, Clara J. "C.J. of Bay City, Michigan. Age 80 years. She was born April 28, 1932 in Grayling, Michigan . C.J. was a member of the American Legion Post 18 Ladies Auxiliary and the P.L.A.V. C.J. was an avid shuffleboard player, enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; John Wilcox of Grayling and Clark and Terry Wilcox of Auburn, WA, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister; Viola Cooper of Clio, one nephew; Ron "Himme" and Katie Lazarowitz of Canton, MI, three nieces; Alicia, Connie, Cindy, three special friends; Loretta Adams, Shirley Jankowski and Shirley Pacholka and her caregiver; Lou. She was preceded in death by her husband John Jekel on March 24, 1967, her parents; Stanley and Iva (House) Lazarowicz and one brother; Ken Lazarowicz. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday August 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 O'Clock Noon and until the time of service. Members of the Americal Legion Post 18 Auxiliary will meet at the funerla home Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. for a Memorial Service. Memorial cards for the "Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
