Clara Eve (Justa) Pentkowski

Pentkowski, Clara Eve (Justa) Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Pentkowski passed away early Saturday morning, September 4, 2010 at Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Angeline (Kluka) Justa was born March 15, 1920 in Bay County. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Golden Echoes of St. Boniface, St. Anne Society and League of Catholic Men and Women. She is survived eight children and their spouses: David C. Pentkowski, Margaret and William Kirschke, Theresa Sattler, Michael Pentkowski, James Pentkowski, Elizabeth and Lon Sheltrown, Christoper and Kathy Pentkowski and Patricia and Donald Sadler, fourteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Pentkowski whom she married April 14, 1945 and he passed away on May 24, 1983, four sisters; Genevieve (Ted) Herek, Virginia (Thadeous) Lukowski, Evelyn (Chris) Margraf and Victoria (Raymond) Rivard. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Thursday, September 9,2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Dale A. Orlik and Rev. Fr. Lawarence Pashk with private interment in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Members of the St. Anne Society will meet at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. to pray the rosary. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Pentkowski will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for Heartland Hospice or Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
