Clarence A. Fick

Fick, Clarence E. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Fick passed away on Monday, April 03, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 89 years. The son of the late Carl and Frieda (Draves) Fick was born October 31, 1927 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Fick was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, served his country is the U.S. Army and was retired from Dow Chemical Co. in Midland. He loved sports, westerns, reading, gardening, golfing and especially spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Fick is survived by his wife the former Dorothy E. Johnson whom he married July 4, 1952; two children, Terry Igaz and Danny Lee Fick; two grandchildren, Jared Igaz and Marcus Fick; two great grandchildren, Patricia Igaz and Samantha Igaz; two brothers, Clifford and Raymond Fick and one sister, Gloria Kujawa many nieces and nephew. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Fick, Harvey Fick and Gilbert "Tom" Fick and one sister, Irene Shute. At the request of Mr. Fick cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church or the wishes of the family.
