Claudia Metkovich

Claudia (Edwards) Metkovich, of Bay City, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by the love of her immediate family on Saturday evening October 12, 2013. She was born on February 23, 1923 in Oklahoma. Claudia was a dedicated Jehovah Witness for many, many years. She enjoyed her religion and everything pertaining to it, road trips with her best friend, reading, old movies, and especially her grandchildren. Claudia is survived by one daughter, Martie Ellen Swanton and her son-in-law, Brian Swanton; her son John Metkovich (Belinda); three grandchildren, Stacie Selle Williams (Jacob), Shawnee Selle and Seth Swanton; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Kiyah and Scarlett; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Claudia was preceded in death by her twin sister, Claudine; a daughter, Anne Marie; and her best friend, Donna Sager.
