Clifford J. Corbat

Clifford passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Stone Crest Assisted Living in Freeland at the age of 91 years. He was born on May 3, 1929 in Bay City to the late Herman and Mary (Barney) Corbat. Clifford served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. On April 28, 1951 he married the former Dorothy Finner and she preceded him in death on April 11, 1993. Clifford worked and retired from General Motors after 44 years and in his spare time he enjoyed working and keeping busy.
Clifford is survived by his loving companion of many years, Doris Skarbeck; sons, Gregory (Teresa) and Douglas Corbat; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Hart, Jeramey (Shanna), Christopher (Amy), Casey (Marcy) and Cameren Corbat; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, Megan, Ethan, Anna, Warren, Patrick, Karissa and Jayde and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his son, Clifford Michael; three brothers, Lester, Clare and Virgil and sister, Virginia.
