Clinton D. Phillips

Mr. Phillips passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 79. Clinton was born December 28, 1940 to the late Carmen "Phill" and Ruby (Miller) Phillips in Gary, Indiana. He enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycles, racing, classic cars, hunting, camping, spending time outdoors, dancing he even won multiple dance competitions. Most of all he loved his family.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his two sons, Clinton Phillips and Brian (Deidre) Phillips; two daughters, Carol Hill and Michelle (Matthew) Nave; ex-wife and longtime friend, Lou Ann Phillips; sister-in-law, Linda Phillips; five grandchildren, Raymond (Kassondra) Hill, Noah Hill, Amber Wedewer, Victoria Phillips, Shelby Ruiz and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Clinton is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Phillips; brother, Raymond Phillips and grandson, Brandon Phillips.

At the request of Clinton cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at Grace Church-East Campus. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Temple. Friends may visit at Grace Church-East Campus on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider contribution to the wishes of the family.
