Clinton passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 64. The son of the late Glenn and Margret Ruegsegger Sr. was born December 9, 1952 in Bay City, MI. Clinton was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Kawkawlin. He retired from J.E. Johnson in the HVAC division. Clinton's greatest joy was going to all his daughter's events. He enjoyed going to tractor pulls, stock car racing at Tri City Speedway, his yearly fishing trip to Canada and collecting antiques. Clinton had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling stories and jokes. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife the former Sherry L. Hasenleder whom he married May 2, 1997; one daughter, Hallie who was the pride and joy of his life; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Diane Hasenleder; his brother-in-law, David; his brothers and sisters, Anita Hine, Winifred (John) Gorney, Kathleen (David) Wernli, Paul (Diane) Ruegsegger, Lee (Alice) Ruegsegger; his sister-in-law, Maria Ruegsegger and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one sister, Ann Marie Bishop; one brother, Glenn Jr., one brother-in-law, Tom Hine. Funeral Services will take place Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church in Kawkawlin. Officiating will be Clergy of the Church with burial following in the Church Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Clinton will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
