Dale passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 with his family by his side at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 76. He was born on April 10, 1948 to the late Lowell and Jennie (Woodard) Snyder in Alma, Michigan. He was a member of Kawkawlin Community Church and the Home Builders Association. He was a teacher at Carrollton High School for 10 years and also taught a cabinet making class at Delta. Dale enjoyed woodworking and making stained glass. He was an antique collector and liked going to the antique shows with his wife, Bonnie. He was the owner of Dale Snyder Builders and was always honest and straightforward with all of his workers and customers. Everyone loved him and he was willing to help anyone with anything. Dale was a dedicated grandfather and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren’s sporting/choir events. Most importantly he was a loving husband to his wife, Bonnie, of 56 years whom he married on May 10, 1969 at First United Church of Christ. He loved watching her perform with the Tri-City Chorus of Sweet Adelines International and helped them set up behind the scenes.
Dale is survived by his wife Bonnie (Maarleveld) Snyder; sons, Jason (Tricia) Snyder and Jeff Snyder; granddaughter, Chloe Jo Snyder; grandson, Garrett Snyder; brothers, Larry (Janet) Snyder, Duane (Bobbi) Snyder and Ray (Jill) Snyder; sister, Marilyn (Vic) Stanley and close friend, Dennis (Dee) Jean. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his close friend, Dennis Braigel “Boo”.
The family would like to thank Steve Guterriz AKA Julio, for always being ready and willing to help no matter what the problem was.
