Daniel William Beson

Mr. Daniel William Beson, of Bay City, passed away suddenly Thursday, January 7, 2016 at his residence at Maplewood Manor in Bay City, Michigan. Age 53 years. The son of Anne and the late Leonard Beson was born April 3, 1962 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. He attended T.L. Handy High School and graduated from U.S.A High School. Dan was a loyal MSU football fan, he was formerly employed as a truck driver, enjoyed socializing, was a big soft teddy bear and was strong as a bull. Most of all he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and loved spending time with his family.
Left behind to cherish his memories is his mother; Anne Elizabeth (Sieber) Beson, his ex-wife; Debra LaFond, one step daughter; Ingrid (Joe) Smith, three grandchildren; Avery, Austin and Adrian, his brothers and sisters; Marie (Stephen) Guice, Nannette (Al) Becker, Lawrence (Judy) Beson, Thomas (Patricia) Beson, Diane (Jack) DeLorge, Lew Beson, John Beson, Jean (Charles) Begley, Joan (Mike) Covarrubias and Fred Beson, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; Leonard Beson and one sister-in-law; Billy Beson.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Midland Baptist Church 5009 Jefferson Ave. Midland, Michigan 48640. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Payne with private inurnment in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin, Michigan. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Dan will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to the "Wishes of the Family"
