Darlene N. Hinman

Darlene passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 64 years. The daughter of the late Dent and Leona (Strickland) Hinman was born August 13, 1948 in Bay City. She attended the North Bay Activity Center. When she was a child she attended the Salvation Army in Bay City for worship. Darlene is survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Clarence and Anna Lee Hinman, one sister; Marilyn Garlinghouse, several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins, her friends at North Bay Activity Center, her house mates at Jefferson North, she was well taken care of by her caregivers; Jackie and Shirley. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister-in-law; Henry and Isabelle Hinman and Burton Hinman, two sisters; Erma Hinman and Elsie Plant, one brother-in-law; Loren Garlinghouse. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Captain Brian Goodwill from the Salvation Army with interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
