David A. Andress

Mr. David A. Andress, of Bay City, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 16, 2017, age 63. The son of the late Earl and Katherine (Kolka) Andress, he was born on August 17, 1953 in Bay City. David retired in 2014 after 25 years of employment from Sam's Club in Saginaw. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
On May 5, 1979 David married the former Kay A. Black and she survives him along with two children, Amanda (James Donnelly) Andress and Ashley (Nikki Burns) Andress; his four grandchildren, Marisa Smith, Dellanie and Mariana Swincicki and Graham Donnelly; his brothers and sisters, Bev (Ken) Kotewa, Larry Andress, Nancy (Bill) Firmingham, Jerry Andress, Keith Andress, Gary Andress and Gene Andress; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, David was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alisa Andress; a brother, Earl Andress; and a sister, Faye Andress.
On Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Monitor Twp. Hall, 2483 Midland Rd., a Celebration of David's Life will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance beginning at 4:00 p.m. For those who so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
