David W. Carlson "Butch"

Carlson, David W. "Butch" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Carlson passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 65 years. The son of the late Leo and Emily (Peake) Carlson was born on January 10, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Carlson was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, retired from General Motors and a past member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. Carlson dearly loved his dog, Wilma and enjoyed spending time with his special brother, Bob and was avid Detroit Tigers Baseball Fan. Mr. Carlson is survived by one sister, Linda (David) Fleck; one brother, Bob Carlson; one sister-in-law, Marcia Carlson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leo V. Carlson and Frank Carlson. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Messiah Lutheran Church. Private interment will take place at the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at Messiah Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services.
