David I. Doan

Doan, David I. of Pinconning, Michigan passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 52 years. He was born August 14, 1959 in Enid, Oklahoma. David retired from Dow Chemical Company Midland-Division and a head operator, he graduated in 1978 from Bay City Central High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years where he was a jet aircraft electrician. He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed golfing, shooting guns, hunting and especial bowling. He is survived by his wife Debra J. Doan whom he married on July 4, 2009, his mother; Elaine (Reed) Doan of Bay City, two children; Joshua Doan of Edenberg, TX and Jessica Doan of Edenberg, TX, four grandchildren; Houston and Gabriella Doan of Edenberg, TX and Alton Doan and Joshua David (J.D.) Doan of Rome, New York, ten step grandsons, four brothers and one sister; Gregory (Linda) Doan of Sarasota, FL, Douglas (Gayle) Doan of Bay City, Nanette (David) Fein of Freeland, Timothy Doan and his special friend Jodi of Munger and Larry Doan and his special friend; Heather of Bay City, his special friends; Ted ( Pam ) Jonas and Greg (Fuzzy) Nadolski, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; Norman Doan and his grandparents; Richard and Irene Reed, Almer and Lyla Spencer and William and Delilah Doan. A Celebration of his life will take place Friday, March 9, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson followed by Military Honor's Conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. At the request of David Cremation has taken place. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday to receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for the Wishes of the Family Will be available at the funeral home.
