David Keith Fisher passed away early Tuesday morning January 27, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 63 years. He was born October 25, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan and has resided in Bay City most of his life. David graduated from Saginaw High School, he proudly served his country in The United States Army and retired from Beyer Roofing Co. He had a great love for the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, flowers, and was an outstanding carpenter. On October 24, 1980 he married the former Katherine Anne "Kathie" Kasper in Saginaw, Michigan and she survives his passing along with four children; Brian and Susan Fisher of Kalkaska, Brad Fisher of Torch Lake, Stacy and Ryan Parker, Jesse Fisher and his special friend; Stephanie Gatza and John Fisher all of Bay City, two loving grandchildren; Brandon and Brandi Fisher, one sister and two brothers; Bernard and Susan Fisher of Vassar, Carol and Rod Beyer of Freeland and Patrick and Tatiana Fisher of Midland, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and one great niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; Eugene C. and Frances A. (Randall) Fisher and his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Richard and Midge Kasper. Funeral Services will take place Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Sr. Joanne Toohey, OP, with interment following in Elm Lawn Park Cemetery under the Auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the Hepatitis C Foundation International or the Lupus Foundation will be available.
