Gregory, David B. of Kawkawlin, Michigan passed away Tuesday April 17, 2012 at his cottage in Oscoda following a heart attack. Age 52 years. The son of William D. and Marian J. (Pressler) Gregory was born November 4, 1959 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, member of and Past Master of Joppa Lodge # 315 F.&A.M., the Bay City Scottish Rite Consistory and attended Albion College. David was the CEO of NuSystems, he was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, music, his canine companions and especially spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife the former Anne M. (Nitsa) Mavromatis whom he married on June 16, 1984, two children; Bronson and Esme` Gregory, his parents William and Marian Gregory of Bay City, one sister; Cynthia Gregory of Bay City, one brother and sister-in-law; Laurence and Dr. Nancy Gregory of Northville, his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Dr.'s Fedon and Elizabeth Mavromatis of Okemos, MI, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law; Dr. Kreton and Juliette Mavromatis of Atlanta, GA and Orestes Mavromatis of Okemos, MI and his nieces and nephews; Andrew (Cara) Brennan, William Brennan, Cody (Lisa) Brennan, Keely Brennan, Elizabeth Gregory, Lucas Mavromatis and Elena Mavromatis and one great nephew; Sean Brennan. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services 201 W. Midland St. Bay City, MI 48706 on Thursday, April 26, 2012 to receive visitors at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Masonic Memorial Service at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Memorial Service and Celebration of David B. Gregory's Life will take place Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 805 Center Ave. Bay City, MI 48708. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey D. Weenink. At the request of David and his family cremation has taken place. The family will be present at the church on Saturday to receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. and until the time of the memorial service. Memorial contributions will be for the Children's Dyslexia Center-A Scottish Rite Charity will be available and floral tributes would be appreciated.
