David Allen Hendrickson

David passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his residence with his loving wife, his dogs, family and friends by his side. Age 72 years. The son of the late David Allen "Al" and Mary Elizabeth (Monahan) Hendrickson Sr. was born October 9, 1943 in Pontiac, MI. He owned and operated Land Title and Abstract Co. in Bay City and Gladwin and previously owned Laurentian Mountain Outfitters in Elliott Lake Ontario, Canada. David was a member of the Benmark Club since 1996, K of C #414 and a former member of the Grayling Recreation Club since 1979. He attended Michigan State University. David was an avid outdoors man and pilot. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife the former Ann Vincent whom he married July 1, 2006 at the Benmark Club; two children, Lisa Hendrickson Haun of E. Lansing, MI and Jenni Hendrickson Kushion (Steve) of Allendale, MI; two stepsons, Branson Vincent Brown and Devin Brown both of Canada; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Dustin) Colthorp, Brittany (Jeffrey) Haun, Benjamin Haun, Ava Kushion and Adalynn Kushion; his great grandson, Sawyer Colthrop; his sisters, Mary Hendrickson; Anne Hendrickson-Jack and Cecelia Hendrickson Heller (Richard) ; his nieces and nephews; his co-workers and numerous friends. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother Thomas Allen Hendrickson; his son-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Haun. At the request of David cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Jerry Weber followed by the K. of C. #414 Bible Presentation. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday to receive family and friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
