David B. Klawinski

Mr. David B. Klawinski, 49, of Chicago, Illinois and formerly of Bay City, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, February 20, 2016.  David was born on October 28, 1966 in Bay City.
A 1984 graduate of Bay City Central High School, he continued his education graduating from Michigan State University and earning his MBA from Walsh College.  He served as an Executive Director with J.P. Morgan Chase for approximately 28 years where he most recently was named Senior Manager of Wholesale Loan Operations.  He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Chicago.
David's love of Chicago not only included his work and associates at J.P. Morgan, but also the many friendships he developed thru his philanthropic commitments and his dedication to helping those less fortunate.  He will truly be missed by each and every life he has touched.
David lived his life placing his family and his God first.  He is survived by siblings: Andrea Klawinski and friend, Dave Laur, Pauline (Rick) Dishaw and Kathleen (Dr. Eric) Strain, all of Bay City, Richard (Judi) Klawinski of Essexville, Robert (Minxy) Klawinski of Charlotte, North Carolina and Lawrence (Karen) Klawinski of Memphis, Tennessee.  In addition, he is survived by his beloved nieces and nephews: Maegan, Kyle, Kayla, Brad, Zac, Roman, Raleigh, Peyton and Cade. They will forever cherish the fond memories of times spent with their Uncle Dave.  He is also survived by special friends: Jerold Balzer of San Francisco, California, Beth Schuman of Chicago, Illinois and Sue Haines of Bay City.  David was preceded in death by his mother, Joan (Rabideau) Klawinski, his father, Donald Klawinski, and his step-mother, Carol Klawinski.

The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at All Saints Parish, St. James Church.  The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Jose Cabrera.  Private interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the Vigil Service taking place at 7:00 p.m.  Mr. Klawinski will lie instate at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
