Dawn Alma Lupcke Bay City, Michigan It is with deepest sadness to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI with her family at her side. Age 75 years. The daughter of William J. and the late Eleanor E. (Schearer) Bacon was born April 4, 1941 in Midland, Michigan and has resided in Bay City most of her life. Dawn graduated from Midland Dow High School, enjoyed her shopping trips and as a devoted mother and loving grandmother she loved the time she spent caring for her family that played an important part of her life. On May 26, 1962 she was united in marriage to Werner G. Lupcke and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2014. They were blessed with three children whom are left to cherish her memories; Darren G. Lupcke of Bay City, Kimberly A. and John Gillman of Freeland and Timothy J. and Sharon Lupcke of Bay City, along with four grandchildren that she adored; Lauren Lupcke, Mitchell Lupcke, Kate Lupcke and Addison Lupcke, her father; William J. Bacon, one brother; William Dennis Bacon and his special friend; Chris Cross, one sister and brother-in-law; Connie and Dennis Rogers and her nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Jane Gregorczyk with interment following in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
