Deloris Paine (Lusher-Urban) Bay City, Michigan Deloris Paine, of Bay City, passed away Wednesday night, June 12, 2013, at Heartland Healthcare - Hampton, age 84. She was born to Oren and Anna Mary (McTaggart) Lusher on November 26, 1928 in Bay City. Deloris worked all her life as a bookkeeper, working at Valley Oxygen in Bay City and then retiring from Vivra Renal Care in Zephyrhills, FL. She was a member of the American Business Association for 35 years, mostly as President of Chapter #5, and she sponsored over 125 new members. Deloris enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking, canning, but most of all her family. Deloris is survived by her children, Diane Brubaker of Bay City and Leo Urban of Mason; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kellie (Bob) Phillips and their children, David and Gunnar with whom she resided in Bay City, Lisa (Tom) Toth and their children, Max and Alex Freeman and Crystal and Jon Toth of Bay City, Tracie (Jon) Stachowiak and their children, Tiffany, Carly and Wyatt of Bay City, Jill (Norm) Bauer and their children, Brooke and Branden of St. Johns, Jeff (Shana) Urban and their children, Emma and Jackson of Lansing, Dale Urban and his children, Haley and Brady of Grand Rapids, and Leo Urban, Jr. and his son, Treyton of Mason; her sister, Nancy Kiesel and her friend Kerry Robb of Gladwin; and her good friends, Mark and Judy Jaffee of Essexville. Deloris was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Cleatus E. Paine on March 12, 2009; her mother, Anna Mary (Otto) Kiesel; her father, Oren (Amanda) Lusher; a sister, Edith (Dale) Krause; her brother, Frank (Evelyn) Lusher; a son-in-law, David Brubaker; and a grandson, Chad Cleatus Urban. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Heartland Healthcare - Hampton of the exceptional care that Deloris received. It was Deloris's desire for cremation to take place. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Lee Austin. Private inurnment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. For those who so desire, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association of Bay County.
