Dennis G. Prieur

Dennis passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence with his family by his side. Age 63 years. Dennis was born on May 29, 1954 in Bay City to the late Louis and Dorothy (Genow) Prieur and was a resident of Bay City all of his life. He married the former Susan M. Wegener on October 18, 1975 in Bay City. Dennis worked for 43 years and was involved in many aspects of the cable TV companies in Bay City. In his free time he was an avid pool player and enjoyed driving his roadster. He also enjoyed camping, trips up north, building things, tinkering and going to Loons baseball games. Surviving are his wife, Susan; sons, Nicholas "Mole" (Natalie Miller) and Nathan (Katrina) Prieur; grandson, Nash; granddaughter Lily; sister, Cheryl (Gary) Senay; brothers, Ron (Joyce), Louie (Gayle) and Rick (Carol) Prieur and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by brother, Ken Prieur. Funeral services will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with his brother Ron Prieur officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
