Denny was a son, brother, nephew, brother-in-law, uncle, husband, mechanic, soldier, father, veteran, inventor, retiree and grandfather who loved to go boating, fishing, play golf, spend time with his family and tinker in his workshop. He lived a full life by anyone's standards! There was never a day his two children were not proud to be his sons and only hoped that, whatever path they took in life, they made him proud. Denny was born November 4, 1940 in Bay City, the son of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Gerry) Williams passed away on Thursday evening, October 11, 2018 at his residence, age 77 years, after a long running battle with cancer. After the initial diagnosis, the family had so many more years together than they could ever hope for; they cherished every day and prayed for every one that followed. Denny left in a dignified, peaceful way, under his own terms, with his wife by his side. He will be truly missed.
Denny is survived by his wife of 56 years the former Judith A. Baldwin; two sons, Thomas (Marsha) Williams and James (Kerry) Williams; four grandchildren, Alexandra, Sierra, Samantha and Chase; brother, Gerry Williams and his wife; niece, Melody Lumsden and a sister-in-law, Lois Felmlee.
At the request of Mr. Williams cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
