Dolores "Dee" H. Reed

Reed, Dolores H. "Dee" of Bay City, Michigan passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 84 years. She was born June 9, 1927 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She attended Faith Lutheran Church and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. Dolores was an avid Detroit Sports Fan, she enjoyed camping with her family and friends and especially had a great love for her cats and dogs. Mrs. Reed is survived by one daughter; Connie Reed of Bellville, one son, Rick Reed of Burt, three sisters and one brother; Alberta Hess of IL, Marlene (Vern) Wilson of Caro, Robert (Nancy) Fischer of Bay City and Joanne ( Lee) Clapp of Farwell, many nieces, nephews and numerous special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell G. Reed on February 16, 1988. Funeral Services will take place Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel C. Meckes with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
