Dolores Margaret Kasper

Kasper, Dolores Margaret Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Kasper passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Bay Shores Nursing Center. Age 84 years. She was born January 15, 1930 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the St. Anne Society. Dolores enjoyed crossword puzzles, a game of bingo and will be remembered by her family for her wonderful baking and cooking. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Katherine and David Fisher of Bay City, three sons and two daughters-in-law; James Kasper of Bay City, Robert and Belinda Kasper of Lehi, Utah and Terry and Linda Kasper of Bay City, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law; Frank and Kaye Smith of Lupton, one brother-in-law; Thomas Kasper of Bay City, one sister-in-law; Genevieve Kasper of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Richard R. Kasper on November 13, 2005, two brothers; George Smith and Donald Smith and two sisters; Frances Ceglarek and Virginia LeRoux. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm with private interment in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Kasper will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorials for the Activity Department at Bay Shores Nursing Center will be available at the funeral home.
