Donald R. Brissette

Donald passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the age of 80. The son of the late Raymond and DellMae (Leonard) Brissette was born August 26, 1944 in Bay City, Michigan. Donald served his country in the U.S. Navy and was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. Donald was family oriented, especially when it came to spending time with his grandchildren. 

Donald is survived by his wife the former, Carlene Young, whom he married on June 15, 1968; children, Brett (Ashley) Brissette, Ashley )Keith) Hilton and Curt (Peggy) Brissette; grandchildren, Alisha (Ryan) O’Hearn, Kaitlyn Hilton, Matthew Snyder, Madison (Tyler) Yaworski, Layne Hilton, Lance Hilton, Megan Brissette, Kyle Brissette and Brayden Brissette; great grandson, Benjamin O’Hearn; brother, Steven (Linda) Brissette; sister-in-law, Marilyn Williams and her special friend, Dick Mapes and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Brissette Jr.; three sisters, Karen Leppek, Jeanette Tressic and Pamela Charbonneau; sister-in-law, Phyllis Brissette; brother-in-law, Don Charbonneau and his father and mother-in-law, Clem and Kay Heitzig.

A memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be E.J. Brown. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
