Donald R. LaRoche

Mr. LaRoche passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the University of Michigan Health System. Age 51 years. The son of the late Donald and Barbara (Gates) LaRoche was born October 2, 1967 in Bay City, Michigan. Donald worked in the family business of flooring installation and enjoyed playing pool, his AA meetings and friends, snowmobiling, camping and spending time with his grandchildren, his special friend, Patty; emotional support dog, Bear and his kitty, KeeKee.

Mr. LaRoche is survived by his wife, Bethany LaRoche; six children, Donald Cruz, Nicole (Scott Hopkins) LaRoche, Jessica (Chad) Tolliver, Justin Canute, Brandon LaRoche and Jordon LaRoche; grandchildren, Fayth and Preston Tolliver and KayLee and Bentley Hopkins and four other grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; his brothers and sisters, Carla LaRoche, Ceilia (John) Wodarski, Robert (Melisa) Stevens, Alicia (Shane) Rittenhouse, Mona Stevens, Tina Giddings and Guy LaRoche. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Donavin Tolliver; brother, Richard Stevens Jr.; step fathers, Richard Stevens Sr. and Melvin Wells and his mother-in-law, Carol Cornelius.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Cowling. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
