Donald H. Richardson

Donald passed away on Friday morning, March 9, 2018 at The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant at the age of 79 years. Don was born on March 26, 1938 in Monroe, Tennessee to the late Verdie and Dulcie (King) Richardson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Don married the former Ellen Fauble in Bay City on August 6, 2009. Don worked for Huck Manufacturing as a supervisor and retired in 1992. He was a member of the NRA and loved hunting and tinkering outside making things.
Don is survived by his wife, Ellen; step children, Shelly (Tony) Helm, Don and Dennis Weismiller; step grandchildren, Sean Foster, Donny and Matthew Weismiller, Alex and Ryan Helm and Ariana Summers; sisters, Muriel Smith and Edna Marker and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Funeral and committal service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
