Donald John Wolicki

Mr. Wolicki passed away on Thursday July 6, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 68 years. The son of the late Stanley and Cecelia (Spychalski) Wolicki was born in Bay City, Michigan on September 15, 1948. Mr. Wolicki was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and worked for many years at Advance Central (Bay City Times). Don loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, watching the Detroit sports teams and U of M sports. Mr. Wolicki is survived by his wife the former Barbara LaPan; two children, Jodie (Jon) Baker and Brandon Wolicki; three grandchildren, Tim Wolicki, Amanda Wolicki and her fiancee Josh Streeter and Daniel Timm; one great granddaughter, Makayla Turbin; three brothers, Stanley, Frank and Matthew Wolicki; four sisters, Marion Barney, Joanne (Ken) Moore, Elaine Verbeke and Cecelia Underwood and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Wolicki was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Timm and two sisters, Elizabeth Barney and Tammy Wolicki. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
