Donna M. Downey

Downey, Donna M. Bay City, Michigan Donna passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at her residence. Age 61 years. She was born September 25, 1948 in Bay City. Donna was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. She retired from Consumers Energy. She is survived by her mother; Gloria M. Downey, two aunts; June Downey and Patricia Strauss, many cousins, special friend; Richard Gabel, many other friends and co workers, her cats; Pumpkin and Woodstock. She was preceded in death by her father; Donald Downey, two uncles; Darrel Crosby and Harold Repke. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will take place Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Gerald E. Balwinski with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donna will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
