Donna passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side at the age of 88 years. She was born on August 16, 1932 in Bay City to the late Floyd and Donna (Buck) Neveau. Donna was a member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church. She married Richard A. Precour on February 27, 1954 and they were married for 66 years. Donna loved spending time with her family and was looking forward to the birth of her twin great granddaughters. Donna also loved cooking for her family, having get-togethers, line dancing and clog dancing and was a member of the Hillbilly Rockers. She enjoyed her many friends and loved to go to the casino.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory by her husband, Richard; children, Jill (Gary) Scherzer and Donald (Barbara) Precour; grandchildren, Joshua (Allison) Scherzer, Justin (Autumn) Scherzer, Jordan (fiance Julianna Roach) Scherzer, Brandon (Janelle) Precour and Brent (Jennifer Ostash) Precour; great grandchildren, Lilianna Debiasi, Lucas Scherzer, Penelope, Nash and Evelyn Precour; sisters, Delores Gendron and Lorraine (Norm) Roth; brothers, Jim and Carl Neveau; sisters-in-law, Carol and Bonnie Neveau, Jeannine Neumeyer and Beverly Roberge; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Albert and Leona Precour; sisters and brothers, Jack (Barb) Neveau, Bill (Marie) Neveau, Toots (Art) Schuchardt, Paul Genderon, Midge (Chuck) Gillisse, Frank (Jeanette) Neveau, Bud (Donna) Neveau, Iva Roth, Eva Neveau, Floyd Neveau, Ellen Neveau, Ruth Roth, Marcella McPherson, Karen Neveau, Bob Neveau, Tom Neveau, Lyn Neveau, Gilbert Neumeyer, Edmund Roberge and Fred Neveau.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Zach Steinke with committal and interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Precour will be taken to the church to lie in state on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 10 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church.
