Doris B. Chamberlain (Hine, Schwab) Bay City, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully early Friday morning August 5, 2016 at Bay Special Care Hospital at the age of 84 years. The daughter of the late William and Lydia (Sturm) Schwab was born October 11, 1931 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and retired from Bay Regional Medical Center as a LPN after twenty years of service. Doris enjoyed the family picnics and most of all she loved the time she spent with her family. Left behind to cherish her memories are seven children; Nancy Lesniak, Larry Hine, Helena Liber, Diane (Harold) Isley, Lynn (Michael) Laski, Joan (Bryan) Przeslak and Kelly (Rick) Blaisdell, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, two step children, one brother; Ronald Schwab, one sister; Alma (Robert) King and her nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her husbands; Ralph Hine and Edward Chamberlain, three sons-in-law; Charles Schmidt, David Barrett and Dale Lesniak, one daughter-in-law; Betty Hine, one grandson; Charles Schmidt, one brother; Gerhardt Schwab and one sister; Marlene Schwab. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel C. Meckes with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery 3033 Wilder Road Bay City, MI 48706. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Chamberlain will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
