Doris C. Korelc

Doris C. Korelc, of Bay City, passed away early Friday, October 18, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region, age 83. The daughter of the late George & Hulda (Miller) Pfundt, she was born July 17, 1930 in Bay City. Doris had worked at Bay City Chevrolet. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Doris is survived by her son, Randall Korelc of Arizona; her daughter, Annette Toland of Utah; several grandchildren; a sister, Caroline (William) Stiefel of Holt, MI; three brothers, Louis (Sue) Pfundt of Bay City, Clarence Pfund of Auburn and Herbert (Judy) Pfundt of Auburn; and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Bowersock and Marian Knack. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with a graveside committal service following at the Lutheran Home Cemetery. Doris will lie instate at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
