Petee, Doris O.Bay City, MichiganMrs. Petee passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at her residence. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late David and Edna (Preston) Ulman was born February 25, 1920 in Bay City, MI. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, taught Sunday school and active in the ladies guild. She was an active volunteer at the Economy Center, and a past leader with 4-H, an active volunteer with the March of Dimes, loved painting still life and loved gardening.She is survived by six children: Kenneth (Bonnie) Petee, Arthur (Diane) Petee, Thomas (Barb) Petee, Gail Winters, Margo (Gary) Geister and John ( his friend: Peggy) Petee, twelve grandchildren: Mark Petee, Carl (Sarah) Petee, Heather Salinas, Janelle Petee, Ashley (Ryan) Macek, Amy (Kyle) Trudell, Chad (Keely), Brandon (Kristi) and Kyle Winters, Jermeiah (Pryca) Procunier, Christine and Benjamin Ellis and Tyler Petee, ten great grandchildren, one brother-in-law: Duane Rankey, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of thirty nine years: Arthur K. Petee, one son-in-law: David S. Winters, one sister: Loraine Rankey, three brothers: Burton, Bernard and Gerald Ulman.Funeral and committal services will take place Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. John W. Wernecke with private interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Petee will be take to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
