Dorothy Schramm Bleistein

Mrs. Dorothy Schramm Bleistein, of Bay City, passed away Saturday night, September 28, 2013 in her residence at Sheffield Place, age 86. The daughter of the late Otto G. & Florence N. (Rosecrans) Schramm, she was born November 10, 1926 in Bay City. Dorothy was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was retired from the U.S. Government. Dorothy and her husband John enjoyed traveling all over the world. Dorothy is survived by her cousins, Louie & Mary Gohr, Lyle & Sue Rosecrans and Ellen Koch. Besides her parents, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her husband, John R. Bleistein on December 6, 2012; and her brother, Warren C. Schramm. The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt. Interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
