Dorothy passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side. The daughter of the late John and Alma (Draves) Arnold was born February 16, 1918 in Bay City. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and Community of Christ Church. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, was an avid reader and enjoyed dancing and knitting. Left behind to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses; Sandra and Harley Dorman of Caro, MI, Billie and Henry Meylan of Kawkawlin and Sally Cooper of San Antonio, TX, four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, one sister; Jacqueline Korkus of Bay City, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; William Cooper in 1955, one granddaughter; Cheri Robinson, her sisters and brother-in-law; Doris and Robert Graebner, Renata and Beverly Arnold, her brother and sister-in-law; Norman and Janet Arnold and brother-in-law; Valerian Korkus. At the request of Dorothy cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel C. Meckes. The family will be present at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
